JAPAN FLASTA ASSOCIATION
Flower stand culture, carried to the next generation.
The Japan Flasta Association works to carry the culture of flower stands (flasta) — celebratory standing flower arrangements sent to live shows, concerts, and stage performances — into the future in a safe and sustainable way, building a framework that senders, florists, and venues can all rely on.
ABOUT US
About the Association
The Japan Flasta Association was founded on July 21, 2026, to support the growing demand for flower stands driven by Japan's fan culture — as an industry-wide effort. Through standard regulations that unify acceptance rules, a member-florist program that registers florists meeting our standards, a consultation desk for event organizers and venues, a bulk-collection scheme for after events, and the study of compensation programs for cancellations and postponements, we are building an environment where everyone involved in flasta can take part with confidence.
FLOWER STAND / FLASTA
WHAT IS FLASTA
What Is a Flasta?
A flasta (flower stand) is a celebratory standing flower arrangement sent by fans and associates to performers at concerts, live shows, stage performances, and events. Rows of colorful flower stands lining the lobby before a show have become one of the signature sights of Japan's live-entertainment culture.
A gift that gives feelings a shape
From the name plate and panels to flowers in the performer's color and custom decorations, every stand carries the sender's feelings. Unlike an ordinary bouquet, it requires real "operations" — height, weight, placement, and collection all have to be managed.
A culture that depends on three parties
The fans who send, the florists who produce and collect, and the venues and organizers who accept. Only when all three understand each other can flower stands be sent, displayed, and delivered with confidence.
Growing demand, growing burdens
As fan culture spreads, demand for flower stands keeps rising — and so do the challenges: management burdens on venues, florists stretched by late-night collection and regulation checks, and refund disputes when events are cancelled or postponed. The Japan Flasta Association was founded to address these issues as an industry.

FOR EACH ROLE
Three Roles, One Stage
Flower stands depend on the people who send them, the people who make them, and the people who accept them. The association offers a point of contact and a framework for each.
FANS & SENDERS
For those who send
So that even first-timers can send a flower stand with confidence, our guidelines cover what to check before ordering, basic etiquette, and rules for decorations you bring in.
- Six things to check before ordering
- Prohibited and restricted decorations
- Compensation programs under study for cancellations
FLORISTS
For those who make
So that florists who produce, deliver, and collect flower stands can sustain the business, we run a member-florist program and are building coordination support with venues and a bulk-collection scheme.
- Registration as an association member florist
- Coordination support with venues and organizers
- Access to the bulk-collection scheme
VENUES & ORGANIZERS
For those who accept
Accepting flower stands rarely generates revenue but carries a real burden. Our consultation desk helps venues and organizers keep accepting them sustainably — from designing rules to introducing bulk collection.
- Designing acceptance rules and management fees
- Giving priority to member florists
- Building trouble-response flows
